Routing Algorithms Simulation for Self-Aware SDN

This paper presents a self-aware network approach with cognitive packets, routing engine based on random neural networks. The simulation study, performed using custom simulator extension of OmNeT++, compares RNN other methods. performance results RNN-based routing, combined the distributed nature its operation inaccessible to presented methods, demonstrate advantages introducing networks as decision-making mechanism in selecting paths. work also confirms usefulness for SDN packets and various algorithms, including engines.
